NEW ROUTE TAXI FARES

Effective Saturday, January 16, 2010, there will be an increse in Route Taxi fares. The new fares are to be calculated on the following basis:

Base rate - $66.00 (moved from $55.00)
Distance per kilometer - $3.60 (moved from $3.00)

Example of calculation:

Distance - 24 Km

Base rate = $66.00 + 24 x $3.60

= $66.00 + $86.40 = $152.40
